Sebastian Vettel appears invincible now ? Formula 1

Red Bull Racing driver Sebastian Vettel has been considered as one of the most favourite title contenders in the 2012 Formula 1 World Championship and he surely deserves to be deemed as one because of his extraordinary driving skills and a relatively competent car.

Vettel performed tremendously well in the preceding season and claimed his second consecutive world championship title after scoring 11 race victories.

Even though, he struggled a little bit during the start of the current season as the Milton Keynes based squad faced difficulties in understanding their car?s design because of the changes in the rules and regulations by FIA. ?

Nevertheless, Red Bull have successfully developed their car and the veteran German driver has performed impressively well in the last few races.

At present, he is leading the drivers? championship with 255 points. Moreover, he is 10 points ahead of his main rival, Fernando Alonso of Ferrari and seems to be unbeatable now as he has the fastest car in the field.

However, nothing can be predicted about the season ahead as the Italian team is working really hard to make the necessary step-ups in their car so as to help their star driver in the title fight.

The defending champion showed an inspiring pace in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as he secured third podium finish even after taking a start from the pit lane. Although, he is the strongest contender, but he believes that they still need to keep on making the essential improvements in their car for the last two races of the ongoing season in order to defend their championship title.

?Yesterday was a surprise for us and I think had we started from third it would have been a different race,? he said. ?[Starting from the pit lane] was obviously a chance to f*** it up and we didn't do that. So we can be very proud today, we got the maximum and we lost only a very little bit. We've still got the momentum and the car is bloody quick so I'm looking forward to the next two races. We are definitely believing in it and that's the target.?

On the other hand, the Spaniard has said that they are going to try their best to close the gap to the 25-year-old in the next race and are aiming to win the title.

In addition, the team principal of Ferrari, Stefano Domenicali said that they are working on their update package at their factory in Maranello to get the most out of it to help Alonso in claiming the title.

Besides, the president of the Scarlet team, Luca di Montezemolo said that they have to extract more from their upgrades for which the team must work harder.

Contrarily, the team principal of Red Bull, Christian Horner has said that they are going to remain aggressive in the final two grands prix instead of trying to defend their lead in the championship.

Additionally, he said that they are pleased to have a strong lead in the constructors? championship over their main rivals. He also said that they are targeting to perform well in the remaining two races so as to win both the constructors? and the drivers? championship titles.

It will be thrilling to see how the top two competitors perform in the final two races and who claims the victory in the end.
